The Incremental Space Technology Company was founded in 2013 as a startup technology company in Edinburgh, Scotland. Our main aim is to develop a scalable low cost, Low Earth Orbit launch system to facilitate the development of a self-sufficient space economy, with all possible urgency. Our aims beyond LEO launch technology include development of space stations, power satellites, space colonies and asteroid mining.

As regards what is meant by a "space economy", we think in terms of millions - millions of tons per year to LEO and millions of people living in space. How much is actually needed for a working space economy depends on factors such as the truly autonomous capability of robotic space craft, however, there must be scalably efficient technology with the capacity to handle millions tons of material if required.
